Abstract: When technology, culture, and education intersect it is technodiversity (Nettleton & Lennex 2010). What is the effect on teacher education? While examining cultural awareness and diversity the researchers discovered key elements to understanding technodiversity and its impact on curriculum. Morehead State University and Western New Mexico University participated in a joint project about culture and technology. Using the Internet, issues impacting technodiverstiy were discovered. Understanding and harnessing the principles of technodiversity will impact distance education, online communities, and the use of technology as a conduit for communication.
