Abstract: Abstract: It is common knowledge that the way past generations learned mathematics cannot be the same compared to present-day students learning of mathematics. This paper centers on ways current use of technology is changing the instructional roles of classroom teachers. The question that guided this discussion is: what role does technology play in helping learners construct their own knowledge and subsequently transforms the teacher’s role? In answering the question attention is focused on what mathematics teachers can do to integrate technology in ways and manner that’s congruent with constructivism.
