Abstract: Choosing the right technology for instruction could be very hard for decision makers. In order to make a better decision, a detailed analysis of the candidate technologies should be conducted. In this review study, instructional potentials of the clickers, iPods and mobile phones (SMS) are analyzed through comparisons and contrasts. Based upon this analysis, social and economic impacts of these technologies for classroom use are presented. After the analysis use of mobile phones found to be more beneficial to ipods and clickers and the reasons of this conclusion is discussed in detail.
