Cyborgs: Students that need New Learning Systems in the Cybernetic Culture

Obsolete programs and technology are quickly being replaced by podcasting, webcam, skype, Prezi, iPod, Cool Iris, Timeline and Wordle. Traditional teaching methods cannot translate new knowledge to the technology-literate student. The purpose of this paper is to present new learning systems and technology driven pedagogy to meet the challenges of teaching”cyborgs”, a new generation of learners who view technology as an extension of personality.
