Abstract: Obsolete programs and technology are quickly being replaced by podcasting, webcam, skype, Prezi, iPod, Cool Iris, Timeline and Wordle. Traditional teaching methods cannot translate new knowledge to the technology-literate student. The purpose of this paper is to present new learning systems and technology driven pedagogy to meet the challenges of teaching”cyborgs”, a new generation of learners who view technology as an extension of personality.
