Abstract: The Distance Course Design and Consulting Group (DCDC) was established at the University of Hawaii at Manoa in 2008 through a federal grant. Staffed by a small but diverse team, the DCDC is involved in multiple higher education online course design projects. This poster/demonstration session will showcase samples of the DCDC’s online course products and offer a closer look at how the team applies open course content and a systems approach in cost-effective ways to develop online courses. Design and development workflow strategies and tools used when working with academic departments and faculty will also be addressed.

No presider for this session.
