Brief Paper ID: 31611

    Christine Sabieh
    Notre Dame University

Abstract: Interactive whiteboard sales representatives want to sell; universities want better learning outcomes; tech-support centers in the universities want to possess new technologies; educators want to be known as tech-supporters: Sabieh notes that it alludes to a win-win situation for all those around. The question is: Is it truly a win-win situation that one can say the atmosphere is promoting more innovative learning and teaching endeavors making the learning and teaching more challenging and exploratory for the students and educators alike. Case assessment is made; the purpose of the study is to show that education win-win may not be the actual outcome. Implications and recommendations are made.
