Abstract: The purpose of this research is to demonstrate an easy and accurate pre-and post-English language testing system in a university language program with 5,000 students each year. Previously conducted test items were used for easy construction of the testing system, and three item response models, 2PL, 3PL, and 3PLcFix were tested to find the most appropriate model of IRT equating. Results show that the 3PLcFix model was the best fitting model and the 3PL was the worst.
