Abstract: The primary goal of this study was to determine how effectively student teachers from a large comprehensive institution have used technology to compliment their teaching. Afterward, researchers compared these findings to national data. To accomplish this goal the researchers reviewed the Teacher Work Sample (TWS) portfolios student teachers were required to develop. The TWS is an authentic assessment instrument designed to guide student teachers in designing, implementing, reviewing, and adjusting instruction.
