Abstract: Increasing numbers of persons with Asperger’s Syndrome (AS), an autism spectrum disorder, are identified each year. High functioning, AS students with average or above average intelligence may have special needs requiring a variety of supports to execute everyday life activities and achieve independence. Computer-based tools are being repurposed to address these special needs to level the field for AS learners who appear to have a natural affinity for technology.
