Abstract: The use of handheld computers in the learning environment is not new to the field of education. The proliferation of handheld applications created solely for the purpose of learning is new and is rapidly expanding thanks to the introduction of the iPod touch into schools. The proposed poster session shares some of these applications and expresses their usefulness within the classroom.
