Along with advanced internet and computing technology, technology-training activities for pre-service teachers are worth of further exploration and observation. The pre-service teachers’ technology training at the University of North Florida, under the leadership of Dr. Cavanaugh, is featured with discussion forums, activity labs and semester long projects; which, are aligned with technology standards. This presentation is to explore and investigate technology-training activities for the effectiveness of instruction and learning with best practice and performance-based learning perspectives, analyze training activities with pre-service teachers’ learning outcomes and feedbacks, and discuss practical approaches, including learning assessment instruments, for enhancing pre-service teachers’ technology skills.
