It's in the Way that You Use It, Maybe
Abstract: This paper presents a summary of research on the relationship between the use of technology in instruction and student achievement. Although some studies indicate a positive relationship, others have found a negative or nonexistent relationship. This paper discusses research that suggests that student outcomes vary according to the manner in which technology is used in the classroom. Indicators of what works, and what doesn’t, are presented, as is a discussion of the need for further research.
