Abstract: Beginning teachers struggle with translating what they know about technology into meaningful learning experiences for young children. Technology in education is often viewed as an “extra” part of the curriculum that does not correlate well with state or district objectives. This action research addresses the needs of both the teacher and the learner. This research also identifies how teachers can create meaningful learning experiences and meet mandated objectives in an engaging way.
