Share Paper: Using Digital Stories to Increase Self-Reflection in an Introductory Special Education Course

Abstract: A professor has been using the method of digital stories for students to document their field observations in an introductory course in special education. Through these digital stories, students seek to document an important part of their preservice experience as well as express what they learned and where it fits into their own journey of self-reflection as an educator. The session will discuss current experiences and future directions for work with digital stories in documenting field experience.
