Abstract: Students with diverse learning needs are the norm rather than the exception in many of today’s university classrooms. Integrating the principles of Universal Design for Learning (UDL) in university coursework provides a layer of support for students with diverse learning needs to access the university curriculum. A specific example of a low cost technological application of UDL in teacher education to create a flexible learning environment will be demonstrated.
