Abstract: As mobile devices become ubiquitous, it is necessary to analyze how these devices can be used for learning. This review provides a summary of 18 key studies published from 2005-2010. The review specifically focuses on student perceptions of mobile learning and offers an analysis and summary of the current research in order to better understand the direction of mobile learning in mainstream education. This paper also highlights recommendations for future research and practice.
