Abstract: Plague of Frogs is an inquiry-based K-8 science game which has been designed to engage learners in an authentic and challenging science investigation. The game is aligned with K-8 science content standards, and incorporates investigation, logic, numeracy skills, problem-solving, observation skills, and hypothesis generation and testing. The game represents a guided-discovery approach to instruction, in that students experience a realistic scenario which is situated on real-life events.
