Abstract: In this paper authors will share information, data, and results from ongoing research on a statewide large-scale online professional development project for preK-12 educators. Authors will share lessons learned about designing, sustaining, and evaluating large-scale online professional development for 43,344 teachers over a period of seven years. The paper will also address the impact of this project on preservcie and inservice education and will call for the online medium to be seen and used as a successful means for developing and supporting teacher knowledge and learning.
