Abstract: The intentions of the present study were to explore effective strategies to increase the integration of technology in curriculum and help teacher candidates to connect their technology skills and pedagogical practice. The primary purpose of this study was to provide teacher candidates with an opportunity to transfer their technology knowledge to a live situation. The secondary purpose was to help teacher candidates to discover a variety of ways to integrate technology pedagogically in content-specific methods courses. The study on technology integration was implemented in fall 2010. The participants were 21 teacher candidates in two technology courses and 8 faculty members who volunteered to increase technology integration in their methods courses. The data revealed that the technology presentation positively impacted the teacher candidates’ technology integration and instruction in the methods courses. The study’s major findings highlight the teacher candidates’ strong confidence and desire for technology integration in future classrooms.
