Abstract: Abstract: Researchers have begun to explore the impact of game-based learning. Most of this research has focused on what children learn while engaged in virtual games. This study looks at what 61 teachers learned as they explored a Massively Multiplayer Online (MMO) virtual gaming environment of their choice over a four week period. Data included individual reflective logs, web-based group discussions, and individual narratives written at the conclusion of the experience. Teachers discussed reactions to the games.
