Abstract: The study explored how laptop computing affected student learning at a selected rural Midwestern high school. Evidence from this study indicated that the integration of laptop computing positively impacts student academic engagement and learning. Therefore, there is need for faculty to identify and implement appropriate instructional computing practices to enhance meaningful student learning.
