Abstract: Abstract: In an extensive survey and research on the role and effect of ICT in school practice, based on teachers’ own perceptions and students learning, the results came out rather dubious. The findings partly support claims by critics of wasted money through the heavy investments in technology in schools. The research results may indicate that there are no learning benefits in the new technology.
