Abstract: As technologies have evolved and the emphasis on technology integration has increased, teacher educators have found aspects of distance education to benefit their programs in a number of different ways (Frey, 2008). One of these ways includes technology-enhanced field experiences for preservice teachers; field experiences are an essential component of preservice teacher professional training and development (Hixon & So, 2009).
