Abstract: Metiri’s Dimesions21™ answers the call for quality data collection methods that support complex change within school systems. This corporate showcase will highlight the work of the Metiri Group in assessing 21st century learning contexts by demonstrating research based evaluation tools. Facilitators will share observational protocols, “walk through” guides, and surveys from students, families, teachers, and administrators that provide the “what, why, where, and how to” for schools interested in advancing 21st century learning. Currently used at the state and local levels by schools across the country, Dimensions21™ creates a bridge to continuous improvement across seven dimensions including: (1) Forward Thinking/Shared Vision, (2) Systems Thinking, (3) 21st Century Skills and Learning Approaches, (4) 21st Century Learning Environments, (5) Teacher Proficiency with 21st Century Learning, (6) Access and Infrastructure, and (7) Accountability and Results.
