Abstract: Implementing technology effectively in the classroom has become a major focus for educators as they work to integrate the curriculum, its instructional goals, as well as emerging information technologies. With the advent of the internet, many additional technology tools have become available for classroom implementation. Some of these tools (often termed Web 2.0) include forums, weblogs, instant messaging, social networking sites, podcasting, multimedia sharing/video, as well as wikis. The focus of this paper is to describe how wikis were implemented in a computer information science database management applications course.
