Share Paper: Identifying Target Audiences for Blackboard Professional Development at a Mid-South University

Abstract: A deeper understanding of how Blackboard is being used can inform efforts to develop more effective professional development. This analysis examines how frequently Blackboard features are being used. Results show that different features clustered along three separate bands: those commonly used, those occasionally used, and those rarely used. This finding supports developing professional development strategies for three separate audiences: the novice, the knowledge user, and the master user.
