Abstract: Multiple states, school district consortia, and educational services centers have been engaged in developing and testing online courses designed to develop teacher digital literacy. Using ARRA and EETT funds, these projects share a common hypothesis that self-direct or facilitated online courses can assist teachers in acquiring and demonstrating increased competence in the NETS-X and state level standards. This brief paper will review multiple current evaluation projects in progress for the states of Maryland, Virginia and Ohio, each of which address this theme and are being conducted by the authors.
