Abstract: Discover how to integrate STEM and the engineering design process into elementary and middle schools using motivating standards-based, hands-on activities. See how students use a friendly personal fabricator to design and create projects from simple to sophisticated, including classroom manipulatives, pop-ups, models of homes and buildings, 3D objects, automata, and working machines. Join us for a sneak preview of the first generation of digital fabrication software for schools.
