Abstract: With the rapid development of Internet technology and its applications in education, many higher education institutions are adopting blended learning to make full use of a variety of delivery methods, especially online delivery. For institutions that have not officially adopted this type of learning it is critical to understand faculty members’ perceptions of blended learning. The study attempts to examine faculty members’ perceptions of blended learning and their understanding of blended learning, its benefits, as well as necessary support to be provided to faculty when offering blended learning. The results will help higher education administrators and instructional design staff better understand faculty members’ perceptions of blended learning before implementation
