Abstract: Educating citizens for the 21st Century is a reality for all schools in today’s world, highlighting an increased emphasis on collaborative learning and the use of technology. Digital teaching tools such as Blogs and Wikis have enabled new knowledge to enter the field of teaching and learning. In this study, the authors integrated the use of blogs and wikis in a middle school mathematics classroom in an urban school setting in Lebanon. This paper will address the similarities and differences between the use of blogs and wikis in mathematics contexts, their strengths and weaknesses and the impact this use has had on students' social relations.
