Abstract: Developing instructional software that can diagnose learner errors is challenging when learner input is open ended. Yet, when the instructional domain is well defined, the challenges can be overcome. This presentation will demonstrate a software tutor capable of identifying all dysfunctional hyperlinks in a web page and then guiding the learner to correct the errors in the hyperlinks. The presenter will also discuss the design and development of the software tutor.
