Abstract: Technology has dramatically changed the way students learn, process, and apply information. Integrating technology into the visual arts class creates new digital canvasses which enhance motivation and engagement for digital natives. However, little is known about visual art teachers’ capacity to integrate technology into their classroom practice. This survey study investigated art teachers' experiences with and attitudes regarding technology integration. The results of this study showed that the integration of technology is being practiced at least once a week. However art teachers believed that they needed more training, equipment, and software to support their practice. The participants agreed that the future would consist of more technology-integrated lessons. The study also indicated that arts teachers had solid feelings of computer efficacy.
