Abstract: The purpose of this study is to compare mathematics scores of pre-service teachers majoring in mathematics education between the United State and South Korea. By the comparison of pre-service teachers in the two countries, the objective of the study is not only to encourage Korean students to venture abroad and find teaching jobs in foreign countries, but also to provide other countries with well-qualified Korean teachers.
