Abstract: The online teaching landscape is grounded in the digital transmission of content knowledge. The framework for online teaching continues to evolve to create meaningful, rich online courses. While the virtual classroom experience is housed online, there are several other aspects of technology that can be integrated into course offerings; for example: online simulations, data collection and analysis software, and communication programs. It is our hypothesis that there is wide spectrum of types of technology integrated into online distance education courses at our university. This study aims to gain insight into the types of technology integration incorporated within online distance education courses and determine the demographics of student enrollment for those courses.
