Abstract: This study is focusing on designing a social network game as a learning environment. We, in particular, try to design and develop this learning environment as being able to promote intrinsic motivation as well as 21st century skills such as critical thinking, problem solving, collaboration and communication. The EarthQuest, which we are going to develop, is a mobile science educational game for such intended purposes.
