Abstract: Hardly a day goes by that does not broadcast the advantages of the latest technological marvel that will revolutionize the way we work, play, think and live. Educators in such a fast-paced technology environment quickly realize that although technology is regularly spoken of as being revolutionary, the vast number of our students will never work in organizations with such technologies. How, then, do educators provide the leadership needed to prepare students to embrace and adopt new technological innovations, while being cognizant that they will also need to be successful with less than current technologies? How should we approach the preparation of teachers who will be teaching in a technology world that is far more evolutionary than revolutionary? This multi-institution, interdisciplinary roundtable presents concepts and strategies relevant to education in an ever-evolving technological world.
