Abstract: The study gave voice to teachers’ thoughts about teaching and learning in the 21st century. Teachers were interviewed about how they used classroom technologies, the demands and pressures they faced, and how they addressed calls for 21st century skills. A semi-structured protocol was used to interview 25 teachers from 11 states and four international sites. Using open coding and a constant comparative method, the teachers’ most significant issues, accomplishments, and thoughts were identified.
