Abstract: This brief paper proposes the need to conduct a study on a computer-mediated communication project between an elementary school and a Magnet high school that examines the demand of teachers’ proficiency in their technological pedagogical content knowledge (TPACK) and the effects on student attitudes and performance in a west Texas borderland city.
