Abstract: In an era of increased accountability measures, greater emphasis has been placed on the teaching of science in elementary grades. Unfortunately, elementary teachers often have lower self-efficacy in teaching science than other subjects. Simultaneously, elementary teachers are often left without adequate resources for science instruction and may seek out interactive multimedia resources for instructional support. This potentially poses its complexities, however, because of the difficulty experienced when integrating technology with classroom instruction. This article presents a tool to assess technology applications that teachers will find useful in determining which interactive media to utilize in their classrooms.
