Abstract: This paper is a reflective overview of the assessment of teacher education standards in the College of Education at a mid-sized Southeastern university during the past decade. The transition from hard copy portfolios to using LiveText to create electronic versions of portfolios, key assessments, and authentic teacher performance assessments has been rapid and not without obstacles.
