Abstract: The Digital Learning Faculty Certificate Program at Purdue University Calumet is a cohort-based mentoring program designed to support and assist faculty as they develop an online or a digitally-enhanced course. Results from previous research studies examining faculty satisfaction and changes to teaching practices will be briefly shared. The program researchers are now assessing the impact of the program from the student perspective. This session will discuss the challenges of assessing student perceptions of quality in courses taught by certified (vs. non-certified) faculty.
