Beliefs of district administrators regarding student technology use
Abstract: The purpose of this study is to determine the beliefs and priorities of district wide leaders regarding technology use. Twenty-three district technology and curriculum leaders representing 83.3% of the districts expressed their priorities and beliefs by responding to a multi-part online survey. In one area of the survey leaders were asked their projections, specifically to project student technology use. The results indicate that across all nine items, significant increases were noted when comparing leaders’ beliefs about current student technology use to their projections of future technology use.
