Abstract: This paper presents a proposal for a lesson building tool and web-based community to assist in the development of new skills in art and design-integrated learning. This has implications for both education and professional development due to the importance of creativity and cross-disciplinary thinking for both teachers and students. Although barriers exist to fully capitalizing technology’s use in the classroom, lesson building tools such as the one proposed have demonstrated an increase in the use of new ideas, technologies and skill sets by educators and students.
