Abstract: In this paper, we present and discuss preliminary findings from an on-going study on the use of iPads in a primary school in Oslo, Norway. We adopt a domestication perspective in order to analyse the integration of iPads as a pedagogical tool in the classroom. In the paper, we raise the issue of how a new type of mobile technology such as the iPad is appropriated into schools and classrooms, and how t is adjusted for the classroom.
