Abstract: Current reforms of European Higher Education focus on the quality of assessments in study programs (among other objectives). A better consideration of key competencies within several study modules is an important goal of the reform agenda. Improvements in this important field of Higher Education infect also initial teacher training programs and help to enhance teacher’s diagnostic competence. The use of ICT plays a significant role within this process. This contribution to the conference provides an inside into best-practice-examples in the field of new (online) assessment strategies at universities. It might inspire teachers in schools and enriches the scientific discussion.
