Web 2.0 Tools: a Valuable Support to Teachers of Struggling Readers

Abstract: This study investigated how a group of graduate students in a reading specialist program responded to a professional development training on Web 2.0 technologies as demonstrated in their perception and practice when working with struggling readers. The results from the study may help teacher preparation programs better understand how to include technologies in working with teacher candidates and assist them in designing instructional practices accordingly.
