Abstract: The Doctor of Education program at Northeastern University’s College of Professional Studies is seeking to address ways PD will both promote innovative teaching engaging tools of technology while also modeling technology integration to our students who are education leaders and teachers. The goal of the session is to explore the professional development for faculty as a medium for teaching with and modeling technology integration in education. Using this professional development model the discussion will include setting up the professional development, understanding the nuanced continuum from "technology rich integrations" and towards "thoughtful and intentional pedagogic technology implementation” as an ever expanding capacity to achieve greater nuance and become more "out of the box" and innovative and sharing concern over growing the relationship between our “technology rich” online program and preparing our education leaders for the complex lessons around technology integration.
