Abstract: The ability to effectively integrate technology into lessons is considered a necessary skill for current and future classroom teachers. This study examines the effects on student teachers who attended a one-hour technology focused orientation and were also required to create and teach a technology-enhanced lesson. The perceptions of a group of 39 graduate-level elementary education student teachers were collected via pre- and post-surveys including analysis of the lessons they taught. This study identifies techniques for supporting teacher candidates in the final stages of their pre-service preparation.
