Abstract: Why robotics in education? You must have heard about educational robotics. But why is it a great learning tool to be focused now? The purpose of this paper is to present why robotics in education can be considered as one of the best tools to enhance learning of coding, computational thinking, engineering education, which are increasingly being viewed as an important ingredients of STEM learning in K-12 education. Although robotics in education for school-age children has been in existence since late 1900s and it is becoming more popular among young students, it is not so popular as a technological learning tool in regular schools. The paper aims to convey the importance of educational robotics as a technological learning tool to be integrated into regular curriculum for K-12 students, and how it helps students in the future.
